Words that mean "barf" or "50 Ways to Leave Your Lunch"

God is good! He let me make it through my mind-numbing, exhausting, but "oh so wonderful" Women's Retreat over the weekend and the crazy BSF Tuesday and Wednesday (Bible Study Fellowship, for the heathens in the group) until the "cruds" hit poor little sick me.
It started with a general," gaaaahh" feeling yesterday morning, then progressed to a "better keep a large platic baggie in my purse, gonna puke anytime" kind of day. I ended with a killer sore throat, you know "the lumpy vs scratchy"kind, (tee, hee, it sounds like The Simpsons!)
But for those of you fretting and stewing, I am feeling better so far this a.m. The throat is still sore, and I'm a bit gaggy feeling, but I don't feel as though I might hurl anytime soon.
Which brings me to the many different names for "barf". Besides the afore mentioned "hurl", I can come up with a few. My challenge to you fellow bloggers is, let's see if we can find "50 Ways to Leave Your Lunch".
So far we have; barf, hurl, puke, leave your lunch. I add; regurgitate, vomit (a classic), ralph, spew, toss your cookies, up-chuck, (and some new ones for you...) review your meal and the re-incarnation of food. That's 12 so far. Let the games begin...

I appreciate the definitions for the heathens...being one myself...we're so often overlooked.

oh it is ON!!! You're in my sick lil' territory now!

"Retch"

"Blow chunks"

"Chewin' chunks"

"Saying hello to the inside of your belly button"

"Diarrhea of the Mouth" - usually refers to saying too much, but I like it in this context much better.

Was "heave" already mentioned?

How about "Givin' 'er the old heave-ho"?

I'll think of more....

I'm gonna get alliterative on your asses:

"Surge of the Salmon cakes"

"Gagging on goose grease"

"Eruption of your esophagus"

"Spritzing of slime"

That would be eleven more! Nicely done froline. We are up to 24, almost half way there.
Here's a few I thought of;

Toss your cookies

Throw up (can't believe I missed that one)

Barf-o-rama (Stand By Me)

Chunder (That should have #1!)

Okay, must head out the door, but leaves us with 28...

"Pullin' a Hayden"
"Tossin' the trout"
Loosin' your cookies" (may have been used)
"Ralphin'the Lauren" (Ralph Lauren)

Damn it! Ashley stole retch!

Okay, to the list I add the following:

Spit-up - for the baby folks
Bow down before the porcelain god - a classic
Horking - sounds as bad as it feels
Purge - a term used by the bingers
Protein spill - from the old mall working days
Hugging the toilet - what I like to say
Curl and hurl - thank you college
Bring it up for a vote - we do live in a democratic country

Jon, that's brilliant! Twice the taste, zero the calories... Splitting a gut right here! It is the Bulemic's Fight Song.

Amy, yes the porcelain god!
Bill Cosby does an insane bit about the whole process starting with "I deserve to have fun" and "It's Friday night"..." ending in a fetal position around the turlet, thanking the porcelain god for it's coolness.
We actually had a rotating prize back in the day. It was a miniture toilet attached to a wooden stand. The one who was sick last, (or worse, as there were often more than one sick)got to hold on to it.
Guess who had the blasted thing most of the time? Yours trully... (((thank you, thank you, taking bows))) "I want to thank Jose and Johnny Walker, with out them, I would not be receiving this prize yet again..." "Oh and let's not forget the wine in a box, mmmm.
Ah yes, good times...

Food, Revisited.

Upchuck

I really can't believe I am the Puke Queen and don't have anything more to add. I refer to barf more often than any of you. I just cleaned up strawberry barf the other day. Mmmm, nothing makes me want a smoothie less.

Feed your young.

Sarah - Feed your young, YESH!

So I mis-calculated, we are NOW at 46 (upchuck, toss your cookies and regurgitate were in the original post, and I used toss your cookies twice)

Who the crap cares you ask?
WE DO THAT'S WHO!
